Ribbonnote turns your photos and a letter into a gift page with a ribbon to untie. This policy explains what we collect, why we need it, and the choices you have.

The short version

  • We only ask for what we need.
  • Gift pages are private and only open with the link or QR code.
  • We never sell your data.
  • You can ask us to delete your data anytime.

Who we are

Ribbonnote is run by Ina Suwarni, an independent maker based in Indonesia. For anything about your data, email hello@ribbonnote.com.

What we collect

Waitlist: your email. If you choose to tell us, also who the gift is for and whether you’d get Plus at launch.

Gift pages: the name, photos and letter you add, and the email we send your edit link to.

Payments: if you buy Plus, Creem, our payment partner and merchant of record, handles your payment and card details. We never see or store your card details.

Usage: basic, anonymous information like device type and pages visited, so we can keep Ribbonnote working well. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

To save your waitlist spot and email you about the launch, to create, show and store your gift pages, to process Plus purchases, and to fix problems. We’ll only email you about the launch and your gift pages.

Who can see your gift page

Only people who have the link or QR code. Pages aren’t listed publicly or shown in search engines. Anyone you send the link to can pass it on, so share it with people you trust.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell or rent your data. We share it only with services that help us run Ribbonnote, and only what they need: Creem (payments), MailerLite (email), Supabase (storage) and our hosting provider. We may also share it if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails: until 3 months after launch, or until you ask us to remove you.

Gift pages: at least 2 years from the day you make them, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to leave the waitlist, at any time. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Email hello@ribbonnote.com and we’ll reply within 30 days.

Children

Ribbonnote isn’t meant for children under 16. Please don’t make a gift page if you’re under that age.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If the change is important, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
